This book was the product of so many incredible encounters with fascinating anglers. Hundreds of fishermen and women have helped me fish 36 of the lower 48 through Outdoor Life, they've helped me raise money for Cancer Research through Florida Sportsman and Game & Fish Magazines, and they've inspired me every day writing for websites and magazines. This is the collection of the most impactful stories I've been blessed to listen to.
The beauty of a sunrise over the ocean, waves crashing on a beach, or a river lazily meandering through rock as it has for centuries before us, and as it will for centuries after we're gone, those are the elements that inspire us, drive us and give us faith in the future.
